Sonoma County ranks high on the Quality of Place Index, a measure of quality of life (and economic competitiveness), compared to other comparable California counties. The Index includes air quality, high school graduation rates, commute time, health insurance coverage, and culture and recreation indicators.
Sonoma County Economic Development Board released the 2016 Economic Indicators Report recently, which highlights the Quality of Place Index and other economic indicators for our county. If you haven’t had a chance to review the (abridged) version, you can download it here.
