Staff Appreciation, Meet Ann Butterfield
Ann holds a strong passion for community development and is a strong advocate for social change. She believes that CFSC is vital to the strength and future of Sonoma County and is honored to be part of the leadership team that ensures that vitality.
Ann has proven herself to be a well-versed operations leader, having led efforts in investments, lending, accounting, audits, compliance, internal controls, contracts, software conversions, strategic planning, and human resources. She has successfully led her teams through change and emphasizes problem-solving using both innovative and analytical methods.
Ann joined Community Foundation Sonoma County in 2018 after serving as Director of Business Services with Synod of the Pacific for over 16 years. Ann has extensive experience working with boards and committees facing complex business issues, bringing 20+ years of executive leadership experience in multi-faceted nonprofit organizations,
Ann lives in Sebastopol where she and her wife, Linda, raised their son/daughter twins, now young adults. When not working, Ann and Linda are in the garden, playing with pets, hiking, watching movies, enjoying a concert, updating their Instagram stories, or participating in local community or church events.
